Fine Art and Photographic Print Varnish Technology Leaps Forward With 'Timeless'

SANTA ANA, ca (April 19, 2010)-------Breathing Color. Inc. has announced “Timeless,” a proprietary, water-based, non-yellowing varnish that has been developed to enhance fine art and photographic prints produced on digital inkjet printers. 

The varnish, released in March after rigorous testing, “could not be more aptly named,” said Breathing Color president Nicholas Friend. “It protects and preserves in a way that no other print varnishes available today can.”

Early customer response includes enthusiasm for its ease of use.  With no mixing required, Timeless can be applied as received, whether by hand-rolling or using high-volume, low pressure sprayers. Customers are also applauding Timeless’ rapid drying as well its resistance to scuffing and image fading.

When Timeless is used in tandem with Lyve, the company’s premium-grade canvas for high-end giclée reproductions that require exceptional color gamut and archivability, no canvas shrinkage occurs.

In addition, prints using the varnish can be displayed without glass, thanks in part to exceptional UV protection and anti-fungal properties.
