Tim Walden, M.Photog.Cr., F-ASP
Tim started as a young man of 12 helping his father print in their darkroom and fell in love with photography and print-making. He then went on to perfect his skills as a photographer and a printer, earning his Master of Photography Degree at the age of 25, with his Craftsman Degree following soon afterwards. In Kentucky, his home state, his work has won many awards, including Best of Show and Master Photographer of the Year several times. Tim has scored perfect 100s several times in print competition and his work can be seen in many Loan Collection publications. Kodak has recognized his work through Gallery Awards, a Gallery Elite and publication in their Portrait Book. In 2003, Tim became a Kodak Mentor, in 2004, he received the Imaging Excellence Award and in 2007, he was awarded the Gold Level Photographer of the Year Award. He is a member of the Society of XXV, a qualified National Juror, an accomplished lecturer, and most recently, he earned his ASP Fellowship Degree.
Michael Gilbert, MA.CR.XXV
Michael Gilbert is a third generation photographer holding a Masters Craftsman Degree in Canada and the United States.
In April 2005 he had a one-man show at the International Museum of Photography. The entire set of 52 photographs are kept in their permanent collection. Mr. Gilbert’s images are collected internationally and are a part of the collections of Epson, Canon, Hahnemuhle, Olympus, Mitsubishi, and Kodak.
He is a frequent speaker at many Universities, Professional Photographers of America conventions, WPPI events and International exhibits. In 2006 Michael was a featured photographer at Photokina, the worlds largest photography event.
His client list includes Mercedes Benz,Hallmark Cards,Four Seasons Resorts and Prudential. In the past Michael has worked for Earth Trust Green Peace and the International Federation of animal welfare. A Canadian by birth he now has his studios in Maui,Hawaii and Paris,France.
Joyce Wilson
Joyce Wilson operated a portrait studio in Indianapolis, IN from l960 – 1996. She moved to Santa Barbara, CA in l996 and served on the Faculty of Brooks Institute until 2006. Joyce has been featured since 1990 as a member of the Fuji Talent Team, and her images have appeared in advertising usage by Fuji Film, Prudential Insurance, Mamiya America, Kodak, and the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. Her accomplishments and awards are too numerous to list. In addition to the Master/ Craftsmen Degree and AS P–Fellow, most notable is an Honorary Master of Science from Brooks Institute, the International
Photographic Council Leadership Award presented at the United Nations in 2003, and the PPA Lifetime Achievement Award in 2006.
Joyce continues to service a select clientele, teaching creative workshops and passionately pursuing her love of alternative processes with her personal work. Her fine art images are represented through art galleries, featured in solo and group exhibitions, and are in the permanent collections of the International Photography Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City, the Sherman Hines Museum in Nova Scotia, Canada, and the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, Santa Barbara, CA. Marcus Bell
Marcus Bell is a Triple Master of Photography (Awarded by Australian Institute of Professional Photography) and Creative Director and Principal Photographer of Australia’s number one photography studio “Studio Impressions”. Marcus has been named in the top 10 Wedding photographers in the world by BBC Television, is the author of “Master’s Guide to Wedding Photography” published by Amherst Media NY in 2006 and is currently in the top ten photography best seller list. Marcus’ images have been published in more than 20 books in 50 countries, and he has been featured in three photography documentaries. Including many magazine front covers.
Marcus was the keynote speaker at WPPI annual convention that attracts over 10,000 attendees in April 2006 and 2007 in Las Vegas, USA . He has conducted seminars and workshops in USA , Japan, Canada, England, Wales, Ireland, Scotland and New Zealand and is recognized around the world as an authority on Photography, digital workflow development and Master printing techniques. In 2006 Marcus was invited to be a part of the prestigious Adobe Ambassador team. In addition Marcus has been awarded the 2008 International Wedding Photojournalism Photographer of the Year, and the 2008 Australian Wedding Photographer of the Year and 2008 Queensland Photographer of the year. He is also the first photographer to be crowned the Australian wedding photographer of the year twice, in 2003 and 2005.
Randy Collier
Randy Collier has more than 30 years experience in the photographic industry and has mastered every phase, from Classic B&W printing to the most current trends in digital capture and output. Randy has earned dual photography degrees from the Professional Photographers of America and has garnered numerous State, Regional and National awards for his work.
He has owned and operated two successful independent photography studios. In 1994 the Eastman Kodak Company hired and entrusted him with one of their key territories in the United States. It was during this period of time that his knowledge of the digital future was developed. In 1998, Randy joined Kiddie Kandids. He brought new insight and creativity to the company and was given the task of converting the entire organization to digital capture. As the Vice President of Technology and development, Randy oversaw the Technical Support, the Help Desk, Telecom, Networking, Software Development, and the Photographic Lab for Kiddie Kandids and is now serving as the Vice President of Photography and Sales for the 186 studios.
