Nick M. Friend, President

Nick Friend, President of Breathing Color, Inc., is a principle-centered entrepreneur who has many years of experience in developing and executing innovative sales and marketing strategies as well as building, training, and leading national and international sales forces. His ability to recognize market opportunities, build successful business models, and lead organizations has been demonstrated with multiple business ventures including Schematics Productions, Inc., a niche focused men’s apparel company that was acquired by a large manufacturing company and is still in operation today. His diverse experience also extends to bringing related digital imaging products to market, including digital art papers for the professional art and photography markets. Here, Mr. Friend regularly contributes articles and expertise to key industry publications. Mr. Friend is also an accomplished musician whose past fifteen years have been spent writing music and performing live in locations all over the United States. He is an honored graduate of the University of Southern California, having studied at the well-renowned Marshall School of Business with emphasis in corporate and investment finance.

Mr. Friend was recently honored by the Orange County Business Journal's "Excellence in Entrepreneurship Awards 2007" with his nomination amongst a select group of distinguished entrepreneurs in Orange County, California. Adam Hill, Vice President of Sales

Adam Hill, Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Breathing Color, Inc. comes from a distinguished family lineage of entrepreneurs dating back to the 1700's who wasted no time developing his talents - beginning at age five. He learned diverse principles of entrepreneurship and hard work, but most importantly, at a very young age Adam learned and experienced the value of devoting oneself entirely to the customer. He has since spent many years building upon this principle to take leaps forward in his career. He now has over 15 years experience managing and executing successful sales strategies for various technology-related companies, and now brings a valuable range of expertise to Breathing Color's direct sales model. Adam earned a bachelors degree from California State University of Long Beach where he studied Sociology.

Eric Lyons, National Account Manager

Eric is rare in that he has devoted his entire 15+ year career to the fine art printmaking industry.  In 1996, Eric began his career at Harvest Productions, Inc. a 20-year industry pioneer and leader in fine art printmaking.  He was an important piece with the evolution from lithography or film to digital art and photography printing.  In 2000, Eric became the Sales Director and one of the first employees of Bulldog Products.  Eric introduced business solutions for input, edit, output by Scitex with the Iris printer. He was instrumental with the inception of micro-piezo technology into art studios and photo labs with Epson, Mutoh, Roland and HP printers. He was involved with the research and development and sales of the first inkjet canvas, inks and top-coatings for fine art reproduction.

Eric joined the Breathing Color team in early 2007.   His unparalleled knowledge and experience fits perfectly with the Breathing Color culture. His ability helps lead the Company into new markets both domestically and internationally.

In his younger years, Eric played soccer competitively throughout the world and was part of the U.S. Olympic under 18 team.  He lives in Corona, CA with his wife, son, and daughter.

 

Sharon Frisk, Business Development

Sharon Frisk has recently joined Breathing Color and will be focusing on Business Development and Customer Service.  Sharon has held various roles within the broader printing industry for many years.  She began as a sales representative in both the label manufacturing and forms distribution industries.  Her experience in digital inkjet began at BullDog Products where she held a key role as Vice President of Operations for several years.  She then moved on to Harvest Productions, a leading fine art atelier, where she focused on developing business within the hospitality and design markets.
